Cottonwood Grantees by Year 2025 Total Funds Allocated: $115,960 Proposals received: 10 Proposals approved for funding: 9 Grantee Amount Awarded Program Title Program Description Reinbows, Inc. $5,000 Reinbows Cares - Empowering Children from Families with Addiction Reinbows, Inc. will provide a 20-week horse-assisted program serving youth impacted by family substance abuse. Guided by a licensed counselor and trained support staff. Des Moines Valley Health and Human Services $3,000 Substance Use Disorder Consultation Services DVHHS will contract a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor to provide professional expertise and support to social workers serving individuals and families impacted by substance use disorders; thereby providing enhanced service planning and better outcomes. MN Department of Corrections - Cottonwood $2,000/$9,960 Gas Vouchers/TIDES Training for Cottonwood Agencies Provide gas cards for individuals experiencing financial hardship to better access transportation to treatment and recovery services./Provide training to local professionals working with individuals in the justice system. The training uses the TIDES Supervision Model which is based on trauma informed principles to achieve better outcomes for community members experiencing addiction. Agape Counseling $24,000 Expanding Treatment/Recovery Services Continuing Education for Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor; Upgrade costs for Electronic Medical Record onboarding; Gap funding for individuals needing treatment/chemical use assessments. Sober Hope Living House $24,000 Sober Hope Recovery Housing Project Provide access to housing and support services for people with Opioid Use Disorder and any co-occurring SUD/MH conditions. RAYS Unlimited Sober House $24,000 Recovery Stability and Peer Support Expansion Provide access to housing for people with Opioid Use Disorder and any co-occurring SUD/MH conditions. New Life Treatment Center $24,000 New Life Gap Fund: Bridging Hope and Recovery The GAP fund will provide direct support for treatment costs across all levels of care (detox, inpatient, and outpatient) as well as for medication co-pays, laboratory fees, and Outpatient SUD assessments for individuals with partial or no insurance coverage.
