The Minnesota Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) has announced that November benefits for the following programs will be delayed until the shutdown ends or DCYF receives further guidance from the federal government:

  •   Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
  •   Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) food benefits

The MFIP cash portion will continue to be issued as scheduled in November.

If you currently receive SNAP or MFIP benefits, you can continue using your existing benefits as usual.

DCYF is actively exploring solutions to ensure Minnesotans can access essential food benefits if the shutdown continues.
